Over 80 potential candidates attended ED4D’s kick-off event for Ghana at Humanity House in The Hague on 2 February 2019.

Mr. Edward Ashong Lartey from the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) came over especially from Ghana to present the business climate and opportunities in Ghana.

The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Ghana in the Netherlands, Her Excellency Ms Sophia Horner-Sam. Insights were given into the keys to become successful and an inspiring video was shown of an entrepreneur who set-up a business in Accra.

The CEO of WAJENZI, a crowdfunding platform with the ambition to turn migrants into the community builders of their country of origin explained how the platform could be useful to support starting entrepreneurs.
