We were happy to welcome our CD4D2 partners to the 4th CD4D2 task force meeting that took place on 7th October 2021. In what was a lively meeting, we were able to share recent developments within the CD4D2 project and also hear about relevant developments and ideas from our partners.
The task force plays an important role in helping to oversee project activities, discuss progress and challenges and adapt the strategy if required. During this latest meeting, we were joined by our CD4D2 focal point in Nigeria, Napoleon Abakpa, who was able to inform the task force on activities in our newest CD4D focus country. Happily, things are going well in Nigeria and Napoleon was able to provide a positive outlook, whilst at the same time describing some of the challenges that have been faced.
Further to this we also received an overview from our external evaluator, the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance (MGSoG), who recently finished their mid-term evaluation report of the CD4D2 project.
There was also space for task force members to update each other about their current work and this led to a fruitful discussion and a number of possible collaboration opportunities that will be followed up. As always we are extremely grateful for the time and input that the CD4D2 task force members give to the project, and we look forward to our next meeting which we hope will be able to take place in person for the first time in a very long time!
