A World Citizen

You are here: Home / Featured / A World Citizen

24 August, 2018

Ismail Awil left his country of origin, Somaliland, for the Netherlands. Since then, he completed his studies and worked for multiple international organizations.

Currrently he is working on his fourth CD4D assignment at the Ministry of Interior in Somaliland. These experiences have molded him into a world citizen. So far, Ismail developed a strategic and development plan for the upcoming four years. His long-term goal is to settle in Somaliland and contribute as much as he can to the capacity-building process of various institutions in Somaliland.
