About 80 potential candidates were present at ED4D’s kick-off event for Ethiopia at Humanity House in The Hague on 26 January 2019. It was attended by two high positioned governmental officials; Ms. Kamale, the Director General of the Ethiopian Diaspora Agency, who presented the overall environment for diaspora engagement in Ethiopia and Mr. Woldetsadik from the Ethiopian Investment Commission, who presented the investment and business climate in Ethiopia.
Useful tips were given into what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur and inspiration came from a Dutch-Ethiopian lady who initiated a successful business in her country of origin.
