Four countries, 94 assignments and still growing in number: CD4D2 continues to play an important role in engaging diaspora in knowledge transfer missions in their country of origin.
As part of the midterm evaluation, Maastricht Graduate School of Governance/UNU-MERIT is conducting interviews to reflect on the experiences of diaspora at host institutions in the focus countries Afghanistan, Iraq, Iraq and Somalia.
The interviews will shed light on the impact the diaspora experts had within their host organizations, as staff members, supervisors and other host institution officials such as ministers and Director Generals share their perspective on the experiences with CD4D2 so far. They provide insights on the interaction between the host organization staff and the diaspora experts and highlight success factors and challenges. The report also looks ahead and shares expectations and prospects for the final year of the project.
We will inform you about the progress of the evaluation by the end of August 2021. More information about the midterm evaluation can be found here.
