Beneficiary Institution: Ministry of Parliamentary Relations and Constitutional Affairs, Hargeisa, Somaliland
Abdiaziz Jama Ali, Admin and Finance Officer
“CD4D2 is important because of the knowledge transfer component aimed at increasing the capacity and eventually the overall performance of our institution. We are participating for the first time and I believe the project will contribute to the way we work in a positive way. For the Ministry, I am the focal point for CD4D2’s diaspora experts by assisting and guiding them while they are on board, and making sure they carry on their assignments successfully.
“A Valuable Change in the Knowledge of our Staff”
The training needs of my staff are mainly on the topics of policy making and human resources management skills. The diaspora expert assisting us shared his knowledge specifically in the fields of Human Resource Management and ICT. I noticed the trainings enhanced the insight and practical skills of my staff. This has created a valuable change in the knowledge of the staff and in our institution’s overall performance.”
