A motion on engaging diaspora organizations for development and the implementation of policies for the countries of origin has been adopted by the Dutch parliament this week. The Chamber, having heard the deliberations, have recognized the important role that diaspora play in the Netherlands with regards to development and supported by the Netherlands in relevant countries of origin.
