Access to Finance Webinar #3: Growth Africa’s Entrepreneurs Support Ecosystem & RemitFund’s Support to Diaspora Led Businesses

IOM is organizing, in collaboration with Zidi, a series of webinars on access to finance and investor-readiness for diaspora entrepreneurs wanting to set-up or scale SMEs in Africa.

The webinars will take place over a 6 weeks period, every session focusing on a different topic with interesting speakers.

GrowthAfrica grows local and international entrepreneurs and businesses into exceptional, impactful enterprises through acceleration activities, strategic advice and facilitated access to investments. It supports the development of leadership among the next generation of Africa’s entrepreneurs.
Postar Chikaoneka’s core focus is on developing, planning and executing acceleration, incubation and entrepreneurial capacity building activities in a growing portfolio of donor/foundation/NGO/corporate-funded projects in Malawi while also being able to scout for and assess other regional opportunities for expansion of similar and related activities

Grace Camara-Managing Director at RemitFund
Grace CamaraGrace Camara is the Executive Director of RemitFund, an award-winning non-profit that transforms remittances into social impact. RemitFund empowers Africans in the diaspora to create and invest in sustainable businesses in Africa.
A lawyer by profession, Grace has over a decade of experience advising non-profits and social ventures on institutional donor compliance, commercial and strategic legal issues. She has practised in both private and non-profit sectors, including as legal counsel for the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Grace also worked as a legal policy researcher for Oxfam International, specialising in economic development and trade policy.
She holds a masters degree in commercial law with distinction from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a diplôme in International Trade and Development from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
