IOM is collaborating with the 1% club to offer the ED4D participants the possibility to crowdfund a part of their start-up capital or launch a do-good campaign related to their business plan.

The campaigns of Charles Peprah and Richard Dickens are already ongoing. Others will follow.

Richard’s company ‘Van de Dutchies Farm’ is a registered agribusiness company in Mepe, Ghana. He has ownership over 56 hectares of land suitable for rice and cassava. His goal is to support the local community through employment, empowerment programmes and solving food shortages.

Charles aims to encourage and engage the local community of Kumasi, Ghana, to ‘Recycle! Don’t trash our future’. Not only will this make a positive contribution to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, it will also create a sustainable business for Charles and the local community.
